ELEVATING CENTURY BUSINESS SOLUTIONS' EMPLOYEE LOUNGE
Century Business Solutions, an integrated payments company headquartered in Irvine, California, sought to enhance their employee lounge with an advanced audio-visual solution.
PROJECT SCOPE
AVDG was enlisted to manage the installation of a new video wall as part of Century Business Solutions' renovations to their employee lounge, aiming to create a more inviting and functional space for team members.
LED VIDEO WALL UPGRADE
Upon AVDG's recommendation, Century opted for a superior Planar® MGP Series 16-foot-wide, 7-foot-high LED video wall. This solution surpassed traditional LCD video walls, offering seamless, fine pixel pitch, Full HD, and 4K resolutions. The LED technology provided greater flexibility in creating various layout options.
VIDEO PROCESSING AND CONTROL
AVDG partnered with Analog Way to enable multiple layout options and seamlessly scale native 16:9 source content to match the LED video wall's resolution. Additionally, a user-friendly Crestron interface was integrated to facilitate easy control of the display and seamless switching between different layouts and sources.
PARTNERSHIP WITH PLANAR
AVDG collaborated closely with Planar, comparing the proposed LED video wall with the initially planned LCD option. After a direct comparison, Century selected the LED solution for its superior performance. John Bray, account manager at AVDG, noted, "The product was very close in terms of overall cost, yet would obviously outperform. It checked all the boxes for flipping to an LED system. Planar provided a solution that hit the mark—hit it perfectly."
