AV IMPLEMENTATION FOR BENCHLING'S SAN FRANCISCO OFFICE

AVDG provided turn-key AV systems installation based on Benchling's current AV standards, scoping meetings, and SD AV design drawings. The project covered various areas within Benchling's San Francisco office at 680 Folsom St.

PROJECT SCOPE

Benchling, a leading platform for life sciences R&D, embarked on a project to enhance its San Francisco office across multiple floors. AVDG was tasked with providing comprehensive audio-visual solutions, conferencing systems, and technology integration to support Benchling's collaborative work environment.

The installation plan encompasses various aspects of technology integration across different room types within the facility:

A. Room Schedulers: Fifty-five (55) POE room scheduling panels will be installed on wall mounts to facilitate efficient room scheduling and management.

 

B. Small Flex Rooms: Two (2) POE zoom control panels will be installed on desk mounts along with two (2) 65" touch all-in-one zoom appliances. Necessary cabling and hardware will also be provided to ensure seamless functionality.

 

C. Small Conference Rooms: Twenty-eight (28) POE zoom control panels will be installed on desk mounts alongside twenty-eight (28) 55" 24/7 Commercial LCD displays. Additionally, Logitech Rally Bar Mini Zoom UC appliances will be provisioned, along with essential cabling and hardware.

 

D. Medium Conference Rooms: Ten (10) POE zoom control panels will be installed on desk mounts, complemented by the installation of ten (10) 65" 24/7 Commercial LCD displays. Logitech Rally Bar Mini Zoom UC appliances will be provided, along with necessary cabling and hardware.

 

E. Large Conference Rooms: Five (5) POE zoom control panels will be installed on desk mounts, accompanied by the installation of five (5) 70" Sharp LC-70LE661U LCD displays. Logitech Rally Plus kits and Zoom UC compute appliances will be provisioned, along with essential cabling and hardware.

 

F. XL Conference Rooms: Two (2) POE zoom control panels will be installed on desk mounts, along with two (2) 75" 24/7 Commercial LCD displays. Logitech Rally Plus kits, Zoom UC compute appliances, and necessary cabling and hardware will also be provided.

 

G. Training Room: This room will feature the installation of one (1) POE zoom control panel on a desk mount, coupled with the installation of one (1) 85" 24/7 Commercial LCD display. Additional provisions include Logitech Rally Cam with wall mount, Zoom UC compute appliance, USB Dual microphone beamforming UC soundbar system, and necessary cabling and hardware.

 

H. Restrooms: Sonos One SL network speakers will be installed, along with necessary mounts and power cabling, to enhance the ambiance and experience within the restroom facilities.

 

I. Open Colab: Six (6) 65" touch all-in-one zoom appliances will be installed on carts, along with necessary cabling and hardware, to facilitate collaborative and interactive sessions within the open colab space.

 

J. Digital Signage: Eight (8) zoom appliances will be installed with wall mounts, accompanied by the installation of eight (8) 55" LCD displays. Provision of necessary cables will ensure effective communication through digital signage.

 

K. Board Room: The boardroom setup will include the installation of one (1) POE zoom control panel on a desk mount, along with two (2) 75" commercial LCD displays. Logitech Rally Plus kits, Zoom UC compute appliances, and necessary cabling and hardware will be provided to support high-level meetings and presentations.
